Hi, just dug up this Grewia this morning from a house demolition site. Pretty easy to dig as there was only about a foot of soil and then a hard clay bed, so the roots were all growing out to the sides. Obviously the soil level has been raised at some stage as it had a a heap of nice feeder roots growing above the older large roots.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with this yet, I'll have to wait and see how it shoots back. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks Regan

Re: Urban Yamadori Grewia
good stuff regan
it looks like a solid stump, what i would be doing is putting it a shady spot, could soak it in seasol and superthrive mix for half a day to a day, then when it starts throwing new shoots you can gradually move it out to a sunny position getting a bit longer avery few days, then you will eventually have something to work with as right now we would just be speculating on where foliage would be.

Re: Urban Yamadori Grewia
its odd that green ants were in the soil, the green ants i know of make massive nests out of leaves high up in the trees and they always seem to drop down on ya unexpectedly when ya walk under the trees.
