Yes we do have a very nice National Collection and I hope you get the chance to visit it some day. Hopefully, it will be around for a long time. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case of late, funding is an issue and the collection has had it's share of ups and downs over the past several years. This year appears to be an up year for the collection. All the trees were in great form and displayed very well.

Unfortunately, I live quiet a distance from Washington D.C. and I do not know all the specifics on who is responsible for taking care of the collection at this time. I do know that they depend a lot on volunteers from the local bonsai community for assistance. I will do a little research and get back to you on the current curator.
