My 4 1/2 year old Jessica just potted up a 'found' fuchsia seedling with small flowers. Not a bonsai yet, but we will be watching it to see how it grows.

Sure if you are paying Jordy, but I would rather skip cyclone season, if you don't mind.

Wow, I don't think I could do any better than your kids. Well done girls. My two little girls love to work with me in the garden too. They are so keen to help with watering but I don't think their little hands are strong enough for helping with wiring. Maybe another 5 years when they are your girls' age.
Best regards to your family.
cheers,
DK

lol, its great having the little ones work with ya :D such funny little buggers. and they needed some help with the wiring and how to bend etc. but they pretty much chose how they wanted it :D with a few little tips.
such a proud dad i am of them :D :D :D and i am sure your little ones will get into it before to long. they'll start asking questions like "why are you putting that wire on" and stuff like that. now they have done it they understand a bit :D they want another tree this weekend, how can i say no when its their birthday ;) :D
cheers,
DK

Happy b'day to your girls. Jamie, what a great opportunity to buy more bonsai stocks too :D Just tell your missus that you want your little girls to have a quality collection of bonsais by the time they are 18 and that it's logical to start collecting now :)
Cheers

Well there you go Jamie, beautiful girls and now joining dad and maybe mum all in their one Bonsai Garden. I know they will get great pleasure from this, as I am a lot older, and I really love to be with my trees.
Jamie I have done the leaves on my Fig as you suggested but I am having trouble trying to make the pictures small enough to show. good luck girls. sheba53 :)
