my 7 year old twins first trees!!!!

Post by Jamie »

hey people. like i have been talking about my kids have been interested in my bonsai, so today, this morning i took them out and went to a local nursery where i knew they had some starters. and to my delight they both choose shimpaku. looks like good tase runs in the genes :D  8-) :D real happy about that :D

so we raced home because they were quite excited to get into. and we went through some basic stuff but the girls really loved it. the trees arent in bonsai pots yet as they have had a style and now we will let them recover and grow out a bit. they understand but want a pot to :D

Ebony had a bit of a mishap and had her main trunk snap, which she was a bit worried about till i told her it was ok it happens, and i think it has helped in the overall look over her tree any ways :D

tylah got to use all her trunk making it a big bigger in canopy but they will both turn out quite well, i am very happy with how they went and that they want to take care of them :D

so here are the before and afters of the first stylings :D
