That branch that sticks up from low down on the trunk, it should go yes?

Yes ,and plant the tree on a different angle when you repot, :imo: :2c:

The branch has sat there for ages and always bugged me for obvious reason. It must go, (where is the sword weilding smiley when you need it?)
The pot does have training wheels if you zoom right in ;)
Should we go more up with the trunk or more down?

I vote to keep the "branch" and in the future use it as the new trunk line...a nice shohin in there

I would suggest keeping your options open until you're sure which direction to go. Keep the branch for now as it could be a future trunk line and if you do decide to remove it later it will be thickening the lower trunk in the meantime. :imo:

I don't think it will work as a new trunk. The lines don't do it for me. I think I will lop it. Thanks for your input guys :clap:
