Met Quite a few more AusBonsai'ers tonight too :-)

Bill was entertainig and informative but the Quote I like the best was
"There are NO Bonsai Police"

Meaning that if you like it and it pleases you, then there is no problem as to whether it Breaks the rules or not :-)

Bill is off to Brisbane today so I look forward to seeing some pictures of the Valavanis adventures up there.

A big thank you to Ray and Clinton Nesci and The School of Bonsai for hosting Bill for the Sydney leg of his Australian tour

Thankls for posting Steven.
Bill is a Master and I love the work he did on my elm.
I felt under pressure with all that wiring under the masters direction; he makes it look so easy.
A great night and well worth it.

Hi All,
Any suggestions regarding a bonsai pot for the Elm?
I was going to grow it on, but Bill suggested that he would like it to go into a bonsai pot directly and be trained from that and I am happy to comply.
Regards,
Michael

A nice oval pot but fairly shallow glazed one.
About as long as the width of the tree now as it should fill out to a bit wider of the next few years
