Yarra Valley Bonsai - Childrens Workshop

Hi All,

The Yarra Valley bonsai Society are holding a Special Bonsai Workshop for Children.

This will be a fantasitc afternoon, to introduce your children to Bonsai.
Fun for everyone!

When: Saturday 24th September 2011.
Where: Morrisons, Old Hereford Road, Mt Evelyn, 3796 (melways 118B8)
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Cost: Gold Coin Donation.

All materials will be supplied, and the kids get to take home their tree at the end of the session.
The workshop will be conducted by club members who have been through the "working with Children" police check.

We will aslo be holding our regular monthly workshop on the same day, so feel free to come down and see what we do.
Talk with the club members who will be working on trees of their own.
Or, If you have a tree, bring it along and join in with the workshop or if you need it. we can provide some advice or assistance with your tree.

Thanks Ken,
We do a couple of kids workshops a year, it help give a little back to the community.
and the kids get a thrill when they show you what they have done and we give them a round of applause.
It is usually a great afternoon.

I would love to take my kids to one of these... timeing sucks for this one... maybe next one... or maybe I can persuade bendigo to ahve one

Thanks to all who have helped making this workshop such a success - we had 25 kids participating and even the parents got their hands dirty
