Hi Paulneill , could possibly be a Hakea , leaves look very similar however i don't know the species well .Cheers Alpineart

I found it growing at the back of my sisters garden.
thanks for that alpineart. if your right they have beautiful pin cushion flowers.

I think they are phyllodes from an Acacia. Looks like it is likely closely related to Acacia binervia (but it can't be that because the veins in the leaf are wrong).

wouldnt be acacia melanoxylon (Blackwood) would it?
