Hi everyone,
As you all know the first day of winter is upon as and therefore springtime is creeping up fast (it almost seems like summer only just finished) so we will all have some repotting to do soon.
Is there a group purchase of diatomite organized for those in the canberra area?
If so, is it being organized on ausbonsai, local clubs or other?
Maidenwell or mt Silvia?
I've got tones of repotting to do before springtime and I'm keen to get all my trees in an inorganic mix.
Enjoy the cold while it lasts!!!

I was going up to Sydney soon to get some and pumice, but now I might wait for a group buy.

The Canberra Bonsai Society is purchasing a pallet, I believe that it will be Maidenwell, but I am unsure how many bags are yet to be taken on the pallet. This order is for club members so join up and join in....or contact the club for more info.
The Pumice at http://www.australianperlite.com/pumice/horticulture/ 4-10mm is the way to go, I have bought both the 1-7mm and the 4-10mm and the 1-7mm has quite a lot of fine material that you need to sieve out. the 4-10mm is great, just grade it and use it straight from the bag, although I do wash it, it is probably not needed. $19.50 per 20kg bag
