Who stole summer?
I woke up this morning to the news that when you took into account the wind and chill factor it was 1 degree!
I am outside working on a Satsuki azalea and it doesn't seem to have warmed up at all yet.

Re: Who stole summer?
Here are our expected over night temps for the next few days.
7, 7, 10, 13, 12, 15.
Also we have not had a 30 degree day temp since February.
We just installed evaporative cooling in our house last week and it is sure working!

Re: Who stole summer?
yesterday was aweful. I was playing a cricket match at Largs North(south australia) and it was actually a like a hurricane. When running into bowl it was impossible to pick up a decent speed
the result was my team loosing by 10 runs
Lets hope the weather actually changes to summer sooner rather than later.
Ben

Re: Who stole summer?
At 12pm it's only 5C in Katoomba with a windchill of 3C. Too cold and windy to do anything outside.

I went to the post office at 10am and a blasted branch hit the windscreen without any damage thankfully.

Apparently we also had snow (above 1,300 mtr) in the Bridabellas. They are the mountain range to the west of Canberra.

Re: Who stole summer?
Its raining YAY, better not say it too loud other wise it will stop, 34 yesterday.
At the moment it is 18 the barometer is 1114 and falling the humidty is 89 percent. so we did not pinch it
. The pup is not happy because he has not had his walk
Yes they reckon the high country is going to have a white Christmas
.
Young nephew of mine was stuck for 4 hours in his car, on the worlds biggest car park the M25 motorway round London. As were a lot of planes, not on the M25 the tarmac in the UK.
What upset a lot of the pommie relies, is there was no Soccer, and
we belted them at the Cricket
oi oi oi . Not talking, or should I say crowing any more.
Cheers a very happy Pup

Re: Who stole summer?
We had the coolest average temperature for November ever recorded in Qld, and December is similar. Only 2 days over 30 this month so far, and we are up to the 20th! Mostly it is because of the rain - sunny days are still hot. So much for Global Warming - all a political con anyway.

It's not Global warming anymore! It's Climate change

Yeah well in south east there is either 4 storms per night resulting in trees down and massive flooding, then today was like 30 degrees and not a cloud to be seen :/

Re: Who stole summer?
So let me get this straight.
Its the French Locusts using too much fuel in their massive retreat accross the country, thus causing climate change!!!
