I'd Rather Be Doing Bonsai...

Gday folks.

I - and many others, no doubt - have noticed that the AusBonsai Forums are becoming increasingly bogged down by petty arguments and ongoing personality clashes. I understand the importance of differing opinions and experiences - without them, Forums such as this would be pointless. Debate and discussion are what AB.c is all about, but I think we all know the difference between 'debate' and the bickering, character assassination and general off-topic carry-on we've seen of late.

I don't really care who started what, or who said what to whom. I don't care if you have ongoing issues with somebody from another website. What I care about is helping AB.c to reach its full potential, and making it a place that we all can be proud of.

In short, I'd like to remind everybody why we're here: BONSAI. If you have something to say that is not vaguely Bonsai-related, please think twice before posting. This thread may be of use if you are unsure.

Finally, I have lots of things I'd rather be doing than acting as a referee for folks who seem to need to have the last word. Recent interpersonal issues here have already taken up half of my Saturday, and will likely take up more time before the day is out. So, as I watch my weekend slip through my fingers and my patience wears thin, don't be surprised if my actions begin to appear a little heavy-handed.

If you think I am talking about YOU, you are probably correct...
