Scotts Pine Twin Trunk

Hi All, 14 hrs wiring and still not finished ,the trunks need to be closer together its time for a drink.

i will be interested to see the tree when you finish

have you thought about lowering one of the trunks a little more? i look forward to see how you go about getting them closer together too, looks like a turn buckle will be a little big, what ya could use though is the mini turnbuckles that get used in balustrading for the stainless wires

Impressive work John! Can't wait to see how it finishs up after your drink. Perhaps tomorrow when your sober...?

I know that's the first thing that comes to my mind after a few... BONSAI!! Not a good idea.

I have done a little more work today mainly bringing the trunks closer together and removing some small branch i will now let the tree recover and do some refinement in spring (my even take it to Hirotoshi Saitoh for a critque)

i like what ya have done mate, bringin the trunks in was a very good plan! i like the overall composition of it all, it feels quite balanced, very nice!
