i had to get it!

Post by Luke »

today at the 'supermarket' getting timber decking with my bro (who is sorta into bonsai... likes em!) anyway we were going to leave... i was stoked i resisted the urge to see if they had any new starters!!! ..... then me bro wants to have a look  ..... i have enough trees!!!!! shti!!! anyway it was the same poor selection as always.... so off i steer us towards the real bonsai starters.... (aussie native section, the bird attracting section and the 'hedge' section) theres always 1 good trunk out of all 3 sections iv found... sometimes really good! anyway i end up getting a very formal syzygium and a bent and bushy captain cook!
very happy for 16 bucks!!

no pictures tonight sorry but tomorrow for sure!!! i also want to post the pics of my other callistemon that has a second progression pic.. (i broke rules and resized the roots yesterday to expose the great nebrai that i found...(i know i know......!!! im taking extra special care of it!)
The branches are many and random. The foliage is minimal at the moment.... but the trunk and nebari are quit special (in my opinion).
Id have to set up lights to take pics now... and id have to get off my lazy ass!!
(im quite comfortable here, contemplating the direction of this new bottle brush, !) ((mad score i say! thanks bro:) and sorry bank account.. was only $8.00!))
PS the stzygium i got is very formal inclined with many branches to choose from  Hope i dont become indecisive  !!!!
>>pics up tomorrow<<
peace
