Crespi Bonsai Cup

Post by Ryceman3 »

Just for those who haven't seen it, here is a link to a Bonsai Empire video of the Crespi Bonsai Cup for this year - well worth a gander ... some very nice things to look at indeed!

:tu2: Amazing. This how much I don’t know - I’d never heard of Crespi (don’t laugh!) ...what a wonderful museum of Bonsai that seems to be! Thanks for posting the video.

That's OK MJL ... I'm pretty sure the good folk at Crespi have probably never heard of the Ashes - doesn't make it any less important that we retain them! :D

Masterly trees. The Italians have long been masters at deadwood & carving. I like the simplicity of the pots. Strange that the trees seem approx. much of a size. No accessories, very few shohin . All in all a fantastic show.
Thanks for posting, Ryceman.
