I started this one from nursery stock in September 2016 purchased from 'The big flower' in Ourimbah, on the Central Coast for $10. It originally had a trunk about 1.5 cm at the base. It has only had the initial root prune, then kept in check with continual clip-and-grow applied. I have allowed the roots to continually grow into the ground and usually lift it and remove the ground root once every 6 months or so. It grows quite strongly all year round, and has adapted very well to bonsai life so far.

I kept this one because it really grabbed my eye and I loved the structure of it. It produces white single-petal flowers.
