Re: How to water!!
Hahahaha.
That made me genuinely laugh out loud. Too funny.
This video should be titled:
Tim the toolman taylor : how to water a bonsai. "Insert a few gruff manly laughs"
So for larger trees we use this slightly more powerful hose.... called a fire hose.
And now good people.... we've attached 10,000 BTU's of raw power to this sprinkler system, and now we can water the 'turns it on' ROAAAR!...WHOLE COLLECTION!!!! JUST TRY NOT TO POINT IT DIRECTLY AT ANYTHING!!!!

Wowee! Surprised the whole tree didn't get up and run away in the great flood!

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

I thought it was going to be actually useful, then realised nope once he started.
Note that his tree already has 1/2 the soil washed out
Too much wasteage, too rough,
thanks for posting.

Re: How to water!!
Well, that was enlightening
Must have a LOT of water where he lives.

Re: How to water!!
Jeezus!
Maybe he is taking it next level and going hydroponic. After he waters about 4 times like that, there will be no soil left.

Re: How to water!!
If the basic styling is anything to go by, coupled with the dried out soil, then it is no surprise our self appointed "expert" uses the Noah's Ark watering technique! Perhaps he should enrol in a bonsai course.
