Kikuwa vs ryega carbon steel branch cutters at bonsai enviro

Post by Sambow »

Hey guys. I want to get a resonable set of branch cutters. Which set would you rwcommend out of Kikuwa or Ryuga carbon steel branch cutters at bonsai environment.com

The Japanese kikuwa are about the same price as the Chinese Ryuga with there current sale. I read on here somewhere that Kikuwa were garbage and that Ryuga were good. I'm a bit confused now.
Thanks

I can't speak for Kikuwa, but I have the largest stainless ryuga branch cutters from bonsai environment and I don't think I'd be recommending them. They do the job alright but not brilliant that's for sure.

No 3A Branch cutter from Kaneshin costs about $61 AUD plus postage. If you order today, they will probably be delivered by Wednesday.

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.
