Hello again and Happy New Year to you all.
I was given a voucher to QBD books and want to buy some books on Bonsai. These are my preferences from the list via their website. Would appreciate your thoughts on these and if anyone has them or other suggestions for a beginner.
The Complete and Practical Bonsai - Ken Norman (hardcover $35.99)
The Beginners Guide to Bonsai - Ken Norman ($22.99)
Choosing and Growing Bonsai - Peter Chan ($33.95)
The Bonsai Bible ebook - Peter Chan ($20.99)
The Bonsai Handbook - David Prescott ($31.99)
Would like any insights if anyone already has these.
thanks

Re: What to spend my voucher on?
Just bumping this back up.
45 people have read it, but no one seems to have an opinion on these book or any other books?
I'd really like your thoughts please.
Thanks

Re: What to spend my voucher on?
Hi , my vote for a first book would go to "choosing and growing Bonsai " by Peter Chan . No book is a complete reference and none is perfect , but this book is a good start . Cheers . Graham

Thanks for your input regwac.
I know that no book has it all, but I should be able to purchase two books and was hoping for some insights so that I didn't "waste" the voucher on something useless as I'm buying them online.
Thanks again.
Cheers

I would be buying Pater Chan's books, but you have to remember and growing advice will relate to the Northern hemisphere.
