Windy day

Post by Firecat »

News Flash

High winds play havoc in Boronia.
With high winds and horizontal rain lashing a 'Bonsai bench' this afternoon at the foot of the Dandenongs a lone Lavender tree was overturned and sent crashing to the concrete floor..The owner 'firecat' awoke from night shift to discover the devastation.

"It came from know where" was all he would say.

Well almost true dat.
My only lavender copped a wind gust and indeed toppled off the bench.
Thankfully only the pot sustained damage and gave me food for a few pictures of just what is happening deep in the pot.

Enjoy my loss..it will get a new home tomorrow.

Sorry to be a pain, but that looks more like wormwood than lavender...

hope it survives. :)

Probably a hybrid with L canariensis in it. I have one in the garden and wouldn't be without it.

At least now you know your mix is ok Firecat..
