Another Japanese Maple

Persisting along with this one.
A couple of seedlings from 18 months back that I pondered an idea.
Stump is 'black wood' that like most I find came from burnt out areas along the rail line near Morwell Vic.
Pot is a biggy from Garden World that was originally home for a large Sqatt.
Anyway here's a few or more pics of how the Maples have gone to date as a sort of Phoenix

What a superb idea and a great way to utilise the black stump. Would be very keen to see progress photos.

Looks even better in real life, cant wait to see it once it swells into wood. Persistence pays good stuff steve. :tu2:
