Repotted this tree . Chose one I made out of a copper boiler from an old coffee espresso machine . I like the way the copper ages over time. I will reposition the tree later , at the moment I just want more growth .

Wow, mate this is looking beautiful. I love how the colour of the pot just works so well with the colour of the trunk. This is a wonderful specimen you have there sno, I really love it!

Thanks Bonsaibuddyman . One of the reasons I entered this tree in the comp was I didn't have much of an idea what to do with it . And now I am really enjoying working with it . It responds well to anything I do to it .
I appreciate your comments .

Letting the apex grow to try and thicken the top section . The branches set well and I took the initial wiring off after about six weeks . We had the first proper snow for the season last night so I dragged it out of the glass house for a quick photo shoot .

Thanks Watto . It's probably all in my mind but there is something that fresh snow that adds to an image . Being a very ordinary photographer I need all the help I can get .
Ken pure luck that the rock with snow on it that I used for a background was out of the wind .
Reasonably happy with this one considering where it started from . I rewired it for the final photos just so I could adjust the branches while taking photos I had taken the initial wiring off earlier in winter ,the branches had set well into a weeping form in that time . This year I'm going to let it grow as much as possible to bulk up the trunk ,I'll then reduce the number of branches and bring the remaining ones closer to the trunk .

I still love it. Love everything ... except the moss. It looks too thick for my liking. But I love the tree.
