Got The Lot fertiliser

Post by Luke308 »

I was at a horticultural supplier yesterday getting some pine bark minis (For anyone that is interested, you can find those here - http://www.cobbandcoaustralia.com.au/ )

However whilst there saw this again http://www.gotthelot.com.au

It truly has everything in it with Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, Worm Juice, Fish Emulsion, Sulphur, Seaweed Extract, Calcium, Magnesium, Trace Elements, Keratin, Amino Acids, Manganese, Molybdenum, Boron, Iron, Copper, Zinc, & Vitamins (B complex)

We had the owner of the company at the recent bonsai convention here in Adelaide selling it, but I was not aware of it and only had a glance at it as there was so much going on at the time.

I have to admit I am yet to use it, but I believe a few of the SA bonsai society members are currently using it. I thought I would start this topic to both make people aware of the product, and hopefully hear some feedback from those using it.

Sounds pretty special...always great to mix it up. Unfortunately, their on-line sales is not working atm so will have to wait until that's up but I'm pretty sure I'd purchase this if the postage is not over the top... Would be great to hear from anyone who uses it..!

Is it just me or do they not mention the NPK ratios anywhere?

Just someone else tring to get in on the act. Any organic fertilizer (expect blood and bone -K) has all those nutrients to a greater or lesser degree.

Treeman, I have not found another product with both NPK values, fish emulsion, seaweed extract and trace elements before this one. I generally buy what is on special and then mix it up but this seems the way to go

Not saying there's anything wrong with it. Personally I don't like fertilizers with seaweed mixed in. First, I'm not sure if the delicate hormones and organic compunds in seaweed are not damaged in an organic mix like this. And second, if they aren't, I don't like to give hormonal stimulation to the trees every time I feed. In some cases this has proved to be counter productive. Better to give seaweed products seperately once or twice a month as usually recommended.

Hey Mike,

I hadn't thought of that - that is a valid point.

I would still be interested in hearing what those whom have used have to say. The testimonials on their website are great (as you would expect) - I was particularly interested in the one from the woman whom is a member of the orchard club.

Sounds very similar to Powerfeed? That's why I was looking for NPK.
