Nice Nebari shame about the trunk!
Found this interesting old stump of a Tallowòod Eucalyptus microcorys being overcome by moss and lichens in rainforest regrowth. Tallowood often occur as emergents in rainforest and are a favoured koala food tree. The root system was 4.4 metres across at ground level. Due to the usefulness of this species timber large specimens have become hard to find.
