1965 WIld Olive being nursed back to health

Post by gerald randall »

This tree has been grown from seed since 1965. I did not grow the tree from seed.

It has been in poor health over the past few years and has been removed from its bonsai container and into this Poly container for some nursing. I treated it today with some rooting fungis treament as a precaution for root rot. I want the tree to grow freely for a few years while feeding it and doing some training. Some of the branches have over the years been allowed to grow too straight so it may be that I have to restyle the tree completely. Some of the branches have also died off. I'm first going to let it grow freely to see which of the branches recover and which new branches appear.
