This was a stock plant I originally bought for propagating. (colour is a deep green not like these pics)
When I was finished with it I could'nt give it away so I decided to have a go shaping it. The first attempt did not work out well. I tried to shape it as a pine which is a mistake. Cedars do not grow like pines at all and have there own special silouette when mature. Usually with a flat top and not much in the way of low branches.
So I took off the top and went in this direction bringing the apex off to the side and tring no to round it off ''pine style''
I am quite pleased with its appearace except for the real ugly base with its awful high graft. Its a real problem and lowers the quality of this tree a lot.
