Started this tree last year but I have not been able to identity the variety.
Could someone help with this.

Peter

Lanceolata?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Hi Peter
I think its melaleuca Parvistiminea. I dug one up from my Brother's farm in east Gippsland, I had just wiped all my photos, as I lost it in a watering failure. But with much searching I found a couple of pics. I dug 3 last year due due to ground being dry and 2 hot months I lost them, so had another go this month, and I dug one from a wet area so fingers crossed. I have a much better idea in training of it this time, thanks to the Vic native bonsai club.
