Sun June 2 BSV Sale Day

It is on again this Sunday, the "once a year" BSV sale day.

The venue is the same as last year,
Our OLD Hall, the Kew Masonic Centre, 31-33 Strathalbyn Street East Kew.

Everything from $5 nursery stock, to well established old bonsai trees priced over $1000. Usually pots books and stands as well.

A heads-up if any of the growers are reading this thread. I'll be there and am in the market for advanced Japanese maple stock and shishigashira on its own roots, at any stage of development.

Only open for 2 hours, there is always a huge rush at opening because nobody wants to miss the bargains.
10.00 am till noon.

A few rules,

No favorites! Nobody gets into the sales area before 10am (apart from those who are selling) the foyer will be open so you do not have to wait in the rain.

Traders need to bring plastic or tarps to protect table tops and any floor space they use.

Ausbonsai members should introduce themselves and stop to say hello.

With 20 independent sellers eftpos will not be possible unless one or two people have personal facilities. But this is unlikely.

Met many faces from Ausbonsai and you all are a great bunch of bonsai lol

Came with the wife and my gorgeous daughter not expecting to buy any trees. Made sure we had no $$$ but saw some I couldn't resist so I eventually drove to a ATM to retrieve some $$$

It was wonderful to see some that I've met previously.
Can't wait for next year or anything equivalent this year !
