Bit of a caveman style drawing :oops: .If you are willing to take the chance in getting shoots in the sweet spots ,this could be a possibility.

shouldn't be a problem popping up and down that trunk once you cut that much off. even pinching will cause lots of popping back. it looks like you have repotted recently? :D

:? No, found it at a nursery last week and cut it back to what you see. Couldn't help myself!
It now looks like the Bottles that line my street, which I love.

Not sure if I should have done this at this time. I like the way it looks now (cute) ;)

Might go get another and try something different.

Good find,
This is something like i start with , i can see a zig zag thingy happening with the branches. Look forward to its progress.

Well done Deemon. It is looking great. I would add some wire and tweek a little. I would also trim back quite hard again after it starts growing again. I like your idea for this.
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
