Brisbane Bonsai
Brisbane Bonsai is a small home based supplier of High Quality Bonsai Stock Plants
Brisbane Bonsai come about as I was unable to find high end stock in Brisbane that was as high in quality as that available interstate
I thought that certainly I could not be the only Bonsai tragic in Brisbane craving high quality stock to work with
So I began investigating passionate specialised growers interstate especially those who ground grow for extended periods
Once finding a grower with a passion for quality like myself we set about putting together Brisbane Bonsai's first order
This afternoon after many months of work finding a suitable supplier, hand selecting all of the stock and organising transport, setting up shelving and irrigation our first batch of stock arrived.
Regards
Nathan Van de Belt

Thanks Ken
We hope that we are able to supply to those people in the Bonsai community here in Brisbane and the South East especially those who are chasing something special and that has not been readily available before.
Cheers

Re: Brisbane Bonsai
We are just starting to trim up some of the Elms that have arrived, I am intentionally leaving as many options for branching it the top 1/3 of the tree so the new owner can choose the final direction the tree will have

Re: Brisbane Bonsai
Hi Everyone, we are slowly starting to sort through our stock and number it, as you can see from the last photo, I have a few projects on the go at the moment, raising a two year old, my beautiful wife is due with our second child in about four weeks, starting Brisbane Bonsai, working full time and renovating the house
Cheers Nathan

Re: Brisbane Bonsai
Congrats Nathan, and good for you! What you're doing is very inspirational
I also find there's a lack of quality around; there's one nursery on the GC I go to and I'm never disappointed, though sometimes they don't have what I'm looking for. I'd love to come by and have a look some time. Do I drop you a message here when I want to visit, or on facebook?
It would be great if you eventually sourced some GOOD maples, because I can't find any that are mid-range prices, they're either babies with no movement or finished bonsai that I can't afford. Another thing I find we're lacking in this neck of the woods is good deadwood...and I don't know where to source it. What you're doing is very exciting, I'm very excited...can you tell? Talk to you soon
Cheers

Re: Brisbane Bonsai
yes I am having trouble with loading the pics, as on my Mac they are the right way up, then I load them they are on their side, if I rotate them save them to my computer and then load they are still on their side, so it just may take a little bit more playing
Thanks for the kind works of encouragement
