Alpine-Arch- Penjing

Post by alpineart »

This was a result of the withdrawal symptoms suffered last night .I thought i might as well get into the construction mode and make a few more trainers for the future . This has a long way to go ,

after 6 hours i had had enough so it was onto a Tanuki for the rest of the day . Resting is bloody hard work but the result will one day speak for themselves . That dreaded wiring task has been avoided , well maybe tomorrow after i finish another project .

Cheers Alpineart

Hi Bougy , the bear agreed with you and removed the shimpaku's last night , if you like i can send you the rubbish , would make nice mame styles if the re-grow .

Hi Fiveoffive , mate i got sick of tripping over it , thought if i padded it a bit it would hurt the toes .

Hi Andrew , Im Ian , His Tony , that will teach him to use the forum name or he might end up with a bad reputation . Sewing machine , don't worry the dog stitched it up last night .

Cheers Guys . Alpine.

Ian,
if you don't mind me suggesting, you should have the arch a little off centre instead of bang in the middle of the tray. It would look more natural.

Hi guys , this is it , remodeled after the dog took a liking to it .
SANY0106.JPG
No juni's so i put a few more Nigra's onboard
SANY0107.JPG
.These need some time to anchor themselves and then a follow up workover , no moss to be had either "bloody dog" . Again not completely happy with it but it got 9 Pines off the benches .

Cheers Alpine

I visit you neck of the woods every few years Alpine so if you are open to offers I will give you $200.00 for the trainers, I will pick them up when I visit in another few years!
Good deal :fc: Well I think it is :tounge:
I love the Ovens Valley and its only a short drive over the Dargo high plains which is a very enjoyable drive. :tu2:
and the last time that I was up that way was last year on my way to Eldorado for a couple of weeks of camping and prospecting.
How did I go you Ask :tu2:

I found this gold plated broach :hooray:

Hi Booga , mate i like the High Plains spent quite a bit of time up there . Nice broach worth taking a closer look where you found it . I sure anybody would give me $200 for it , unfortunately the Japanese tray cost more than that 25 years ago and its on loan conditions apply ;)

Alpine,

you didn't respond to my comment, so to clarify. I would slide the whole arraignment 10 degrees to the left or right in the tray so the centre arch is slightly off centre.
