and the winners are............
BIS was the JBP by Ed...
The people's popular choice was the cascade juniper - by Ed.
The President's choice (much to the embarrassment of our president - not knowing whose trees are whose... went to the final tree posted above - the Chinese style elm ALSO by Ed! Much fun was had by all and the news is that Ed was going home via the newsagency to buy a casket ticket....
Also, worth pointing out were the two chinese style landscapes as well as the Indian Hawthorn (i think that's what its called).... all from one member who favours the chinese style. They were given an honourable mention by the judges in their round up comments.
Hope you enjoyed our celebration of 35 years of Bonsai on 'top of the range'. Wasn't the Saikei tribute by Craig excellent! A wonderful lasting way to remember the milestone of the years, to remember new members and those who have passed away.
Lots of work went into the planning, set up and running of this show and well done particularly to a few very committed members, Patsy, Ed and Craig and of course to President Jeff!
Cheers
Stewart
