Bonsai Workshop Inc WA show : 16 & 17 May 09
Bonsai workshop INC held there show this week end gone 16-17Th May. It was hard work but the weather was perfect. My Photography unfortunately was not up to scratch. I do apologize. The ones were taken on Sat in a hurry. I should have taken some Sun. Both days I was kept very busy. As there was also a surf Carnival on. Well enough. winging. We are a club of 28 members 10 are less than 3 years in Bonsai. So I think we did well. I hope you enjoy what you see. This will be my last post for a while unless I can hook up in the UK. If not I might be able to borrow a PC or a line for the Lap top. Will get plenty of pics and videos from there so if you don't hear from me.Bye
Ps sold some trees so I got some spending money. Pps while pulling down had a catastrophe Houdini ( paperbark ) and Nekid ( corky Bark elm ) got branches broken.Ah!! well.

Re: BonsaiWorkshop
Looks like a successful show Pup! Nice to see a lot of natives there too
How many bonsai were on display?
Looks like the exposure settings on your camera were out. Better fix it so that your holiday pictures aren't fuzzy
Regards,
Steven

Re: BonsaiWorkshop
Hi Steven possibly the last post!! said that before we will see. Yes I will have to watch the focus. The problem was I wanted to get them, before I was called here and there as happend so I Just pointed and fired. I am or was a marksman not this time though. I will how ever make sure of the focus when I am taking with permission of course. So until then bye.PupAusBonsai wrote:Looks like a successful show Pup! Nice to see a lot of natives there too![]()

Pup,
It would help if exhibition trees were properly lit once in a while, which is my biggest critisism of shows, with regards to taking pics. White backgrounds are natoriously tricky, especially if your camera just wants so flash. Have a safe and prosperous trip.
