Repotting Olive in Adelaide

Post by Nigel »

Hi Guys.(but especially Olivecrazy)
Anyone tell me when is the best time to repot an Olive in Adelaide area please? It's the first one I've owned and everyone seems to say a different time is best. It's a fair size collected tree that's been in a 14" pot for about 2 years and has A LOT of root growth.
Cheers.

spring is best but olives are pretty hard to kill so unless you doing hardcore root pruning should be fine most time off year.. I would wait though

My olde mate Janet (you may know of her :) ) used to say, "The best day to repot an Olive, was when you didn't have anything else to do" and I reckon I pretty well agree with her. ;)
