Got a Casuarina Raft that lifted straight off the old car park bitumen surface so hope it will do well.
A couple of Persoonia Liniarifolia - (Geebung) to mainly see how they go at collecting and how they recover. They did not have much root on them, So we will see,

Another couple of Kunzea made the tip home, though one was intended for Bretts I think

A Melaleuca that was already dug out of the ground by Council

The local council have been doing works thru bush nearby, putting in a cycle way along the creek, and have gone thru and graded bul dozed heaps of trees and stump into little piles of Rubbish.
In one pile ( only done a few days before) I found a Privet that had been Flat cut about 4 inches up the trunk, but had a Very flat root mass with Lovely Radial Roots !!!
Amazing and I doubt anyone could grow roots like that without trying real hard over several years! I did not really want a Privet, but this one was too good to refuse!
When i got home I spent about 3 hrs potting them up while standing under anUmbrella in the pouring rain

Hope they all Recover
