Leptospermum Petersonii progress

Post by cre8ivbonsai »

I've had this Leptospermum Petersonii - (Lemon-scented Tea Tree) since Feb '11 when I purchased it as a starter from Craig Wilson at the YVBS sale day. A year on I thought I might give an update and start a progress thread. Over the last year I've tried to implement a bit more structure, develop an apex, and constantly pinch back the foliage to try and create some denser areas, and repotted into a Lorraine Simpson pot with my Boon/Roxburgh/Alpineart inspired free-draining mix. This species is definitely a must for anyone who enjoys a pleasant fragrance while working on their tree.

Yep I like it too, but I must be old fashioned, the parallel branching just disturbs me a bit.
