New Member New Trees.

This Could be the start of something big :P

Here is Some of my trees as of now

Chinese Rain Tree
This Tree was saved from a bin and now placed in a lage pot to get some growth going.

A Small Cedar Tree 36cm tall

I have been thinking about placeing back to a large pot to see if ic an get a batter size and shape to the tree.
i have no idea how to make tho's lower lims fill out. any help would be good. ( and when the best time to repot is)

Japanese Black Pine
Been in its little pot for some time . no idea what to do with it ;/

Grown from seed. ( many years before i call it a tree )

A little sick so i have been feeding it and 1/2 sun for about a week. upper tree is going good. lower not so.

this was a gift about 1.5 years ago and what got me into bonsai.
nothing great just a place to start.

As you see i have lots of little projects. nothing like what a lot of you have but, give me time and a lot of help.
If you have any ideas on the plants i have put up please let me know all helpfull hints are needed.

I'll post how there all doing in 12months + all the little ones i did not show you.

Welcome to the site. You have lots of trees to play with and a couple i have never seen as Bonsai before, have fun with them :yes:

Thanks. Many more in pots but still to new to call tree's.

We well have to see if my odd trees turn out :)

and good onya for showing your plants at the start - no way i would have been brave enough to do that. Enjoy the online family but try to get to a club if you can too, they are a real asset to the (addiction..) hobby of bonsai :D

Hi fiveoffive,

I like your black pine and white pine.

It is hard to tell from the photos. The black pine seems to be of short-needles variety. Depending on what you like to do with it, the long inter nodes suggest that it needs some attentions.

The white pine, does not seem to be Japanese, it looks like American white pine aka Eastern white pine (pinus strobus)?

Under Pines and Junipers section, there are plenty of info on pines.
