Who is sleeping in my fig tree?
Who is this curled up sleeping in my green island fig raft?
At least he might keep the pests down!
The bonsai is a small chuhin Ficus 'microcarpa' cv. 'Green Island' seven trunk raft style that has been in training for 30 years and is growing in a pot made by my bonsai teacher especially for this little tree.

Re: Who is sleeping in my fig tree?
is that a wild GTP? If so wow, your a very lucky guy to get them in your back yard.
For those asking its a GTP, short for Green tree python, Morelia viridis, starts off yellow then gradually changes to green as they grow

Love it!

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be like water, my friend.”

Fantastic Ash, what a great visitor you've got there. I've got some miniature praying mantis that I'm yet to photograph, nothing close to your visitor of course
