Toads - just a NQ problem?

Post by Glenda »

Hi everyone,

I have noticed over the past couple of days, soil mix lying on the bench beside a few of my pots, and a deep depression in the soil mix in the pot. The depressions are about 10cm wide and about 15cm long. I found the culprits today - two large cane toads who think my plants have been put there for my benefit. While they have made their escape this time, what can I do to stop them coming back. I hate the blasted things!

Same problem down here in Brissie Glenda. I had it happen last year to some swampy seedlings I had down on the ground and blamed dogs at first. That is until one morning I saw them - they seem to like laying in the damp soil.
