Repoting more than once in a year?

Post by Pat093 »

Hey guys,
Question: i have recently repoted one of my figs into a 200mm pot but now have some styrafoam boxes and want to put it in there to grow.
Recon it would be ok to do that now?
The fig is also getting the chop and intend to get two trees out of it :)
And how long should i wait before i do work on it?

Newcastle is a bit more humid than where i am but i do most of my Fig work in late Nov, early Dec. I would think you could tackle yours now.

I have finished working all my figs now so you should be right to tackle it.

Matt

Ps, I should add, only go for it if the tree is healthy & growing well, otherwise leave it be until its strong.

I am still doing my figs ATM
Just do not disturb roots too much when you repot
