Not thinking of an end to the story just a change of chapter.the cannon ant was talking about is a hawthorn that was dug 2 years ago, it has been settling into bonsai life since & hasn't had any styling done yet. the tree is as it came out of the ground except with its new shoots attached. i can't post it until Tuesday night as circumstances will not allow until then.
i would like to see what each person does with their hawthorn as far as styling & a future. i don't think it would be fair to judge the "hawthoff" on raw stock alone. what do others think, is it too soon to be looking for "winners", shouldn't we all be looking for progression on the trees. this hawthoff may go on for some months yet, it will keep us all entertained & more interested in our trees. miyagi.
