first i cut around the image in Gimp, then i editted the image with Picasa, then i erased the sections i didnt want and editted colours in Gimp, then i save it , then i editted the white and black colours in windows, and thats about it :whistle:

damn that's huge.... how do I make it smaller :P

As for how I do it, I use photoshop and basically draw over the top using multiple layers for each section (trunk,pot, etc)

No problem mate :D Are you happy with that? It's fairly easy to make any changes.

I don't know about the genius thing, you get a fair bit of practice when you need to use these programs for a living :P

Your making it too easy for me :P I can still change anything easily (fonts etc) if its not quite what your after. This is at half res just to make posting easier, once we nail the final design I will post up the full size version.

Just looking, what if you make the red circle maybe 1/2 size smaller or 1/3 smaller and placed to top right? but still cover most of tree.
Off centre i mean.
