Really love the second one... such character in the trunk. That will develop into a nice tree. I have a number of tridents and autumn colour doesn't really happen but I love them for their summer foliage and don't worry about the piddling display they have so close to the east coast.

Unfortunately , one was smashed off the bench by my neighbours grandsons football, the other finally succumbed to the guarantee treatment after 2 years.
So I do not have either, as far as I know all of the tridents that were brought in and some of the Satsuki's did not make it.

They struggled for some time, lessons learned. I was very dissapointed as was my mate. He said when he goes back he will try again!.

Sorry to hear that Pup, but as you said mate, there's a bit more knowledge stored away for next time and if it doesn't work then, maybe the time after - or the one after that. With a continued library of knowledge being built, one day success will be yours.

Sometimes.
Sometimes mate, just sometimes and then there are the other times when the people you help along their journey sadly, just sneek up behind and bite you on the buttocks when you least expect it. :( As I said earlier, "a continued library of knowledge".)

Sadly very true Graeme, I got mine kicked a few times in 2012, so will learn from that also.

Happy New Year

Any chance in getting a copy of the article you refer too? Or at least pointing me in the right direction to find it online?

Thanks
