Wow Brett, what a nice gesture! Pencil my name in.
Hey Noah, I'll pick you up on the way if you like, Hay is about 4 and a half hrs from your new place and I'm sorta coming past.
Some March sunshine would be good. Yamadori with nebari, even better
Cheers,
MM

It is very tempting. It will depend on the dates but i will put my hat in the ring. It would be good to see Don again. Last time i visited he had a pine which was in need of t.l.c. I asked him to part with it and he told me if it was in the same state of neglect next time i visit i could have it. Heres hoping

Re: Ausbonsai Comunity Olive Dig and Demo with Don Deluca
Hey guys. It's great to get the enthusiastic response I thought ya's might like the idea.
Don must be busy at the moment as I have not been able to contact him to propose an exact date.
A summary of ausbonsai members suggestions where one each of before March, after March, not March, not easter weekend or the AABC convention in May. The Orange club guys are keen for April and Don suggested it was better when it had cooled down some and it was suggested for Autumn.
So we decided to put forward the dates of 17-18th of April wich is the second weekend after Easter.
I will let you know as soon as I can confirm this with Don.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Re: Ausbonsai Comunity Olive Dig and Demo with Don Deluca
Hey Hey i am unsure about wot type of olive these are but i have a few small leafed olives and was wondering if this olive had to come from the Golbourn area. I could colect at least 75
small leaf olives for don to choose from

One thing I forgot to mention is that Don is after an African Small leaf Olive that is in the Golbourn area so we need to make an effort to get hold of one for him before we head out there

That sounds great Chris.
I did a quick search and come up with this description.
http://www.weeds.org.au/cgi-bin/weedide ... l&card=T08
I believe it is the species that Don is after more than the area. He said although the common olives leaves reduce well this african olive has small leaves in the wild.I will try to clarify the scientific name of the olive that he is after.

Bretts - if you can confirm the dates I think there might be a couple of Ausbonsai members from Goulburn interested in a small trip away, but 17 &18 April sound good at this time.
