About 2.30pm this arvo it started getting clearer here in the central west. By 4pm it was over bar the shouting. Glad thats gone now my undentified tree has a name to it ,thated be Dusty. Suits it well! :lol: :lol: :lol:

The photos you see. . . . . cant possibly explain how it really felt. I was on the harbour bridge at 6.45.I could not see the water below me, let alone the city skyline. Walking on grass left puffs of red dust behind you, and footsteps on everything. In the city, some people were trying to mop their tiles floors, only painting them a rusty red colour. The homeless were all convinced the world was coming to an end, and they wouldn't believe me it was a dust storm. The fire engines were screaming through the city streets, everywhere you looked. I'm assuming the dust must have set of fire alarms? Anyway, made for an interesting day at work, and a good conversation starter.

I came home from work and spent about 90 minutes hosing all the brown dust off my bonsai.
First time I have had to give my trees wash.

I was out for dinner when it hit rocky just up the road, I didn't notice anything so ill check in the morning. It has been windy tho. ;)

Still blowin like a bugger here now.

Sky cleared about 2 -3 pm in town
All the roads are a lovely brown colour now

Looks like another one commin, :o the west outskirts are lookkin a bit red again.and the wind has just turned up.So lets pray its not abig one again.Cowra cherry festival is on tomorrow and this could ruine it. Hope im wrong at what were seeing here.

I have been watching the weather for Cowra forecast and the current one is few showers mostly sunny. Winds are up to 30km not too bad I think. The Japanese confrence room where we are will be about the best place to be if the weather turns fowl. :D
