I have just got back from two days in Canberra.
I cannot recommend a visit to the NBPCA highly enough.
aside from getting to listen to Grant and his knowledge was fantastic to share a cuppa with Jim
anyone who hasnt been to see the trees in the collection find an excuse to get to Canberra.
It is inspiring to say the least.

Gday Hartos,

What did you think of the 5 needle pine. How does your view differ from the perception you had when viewing the photos?
Just curious.

Cheers,
Leigh.

In the bark it is an impressive tree.
On photos it is very easy to pick out faults and look at bar branching etc and focus on faults.
In the bark the size of the tree and its essential balance becomes apparent.
Its not perfect so it has a chance to be a great tree, particularly with you guys fiddling with it.

Thanks for the short but sweet review, Hartos! I'm definitely wanting to go and check it out! Maybe sometime over summer?
