my misty crag

Post by Andrew »

After a recent visit to the sunshine coast bonsai soc. by carole waller, who demo'd an amazing kimura inspired rock piece,my friend dayne an i decided to give it a go ourselves.Only after a couple of short afternoons playing with foam and glue we finished up with some pretty nice stuff. This is my 'misty crag' rip off. Thanx again carole for the great demo and inspiration.

Andrew, that looks excellent - well done!

It'd be interesting to see this using slate or similar.

Here's a photo of a similar composition, some people might recognize it.

I think the rock/foam looks very close to it. Well done, loving it!

Really good work! It looks stunning.
I actually found a rock yesterday that has the same kind of shape, not with the collumns like yours but but th same general shape. Can't wait to do something with it.
