Post by Andrew Ward »

Lindsay Bebb with be the AABC Ltd Visiting Tutor with the SA Bonsai Society Inc on the weekend of 24 and 25 July, 2010. We have workshops (maximum per workshop is 10 participants) scheduled for Saturday 9.30 - 12.30, Sunday 9.30 - 12.30, Sunday 1.30 - 4.30. Saturday afternoon with be a "Masterclass Demonstration" with Lindsay working with 6 members and their trees - a process of refinement for the trees and of extended learning for all.

Price for SA Bonsai Society Inc members is $10 per workshop ... observing at all workshops and at the "Masterclass Demonstration" is FREE for members. Cost for non-members is $40 ... and this includes membership of The SA Bonsai Society Inc until March 2011!!! Cost for non-members at "Masterclass Demonstration" is $10.

Participants are ensured of an excellent weekend. A lot of learning, a lot of fun ... and a whole lot of friendship too.

Please PM me if you are intending on being involved in this weekend. We have a few spaces left for the Sunday workshops and I am able to take names for a reserve list for the Saturday workshop. We are not limited for numbers in the afternoon but would appreciate knowing if people are going to attend for purposes of catering.

We just have one place available to participate in Lindsay's Workshops ... Sunday afternoon!

Please PM me if you are interested.

SA Bonsai Society Members are able to observe throughout the weekend FREE!!! Visitors are welcome but there is a fee to observe (see my last post). It makes more sense to becme a member of The SA Bonsai Society Inc and then observing is included in your membership, together with other membership entitlements ... our library, organised digs, meetings twice monthly (only once in December and not at all in January), annual exhibition and sale, access to bonsai materials that are difficult to find in South Australia) and highly subsidized visiting tutor program.
