no think they'l be getting shortend up just trying a new technique i thoght of when the branch is green bend it hard it opens up the grain of the timber then as it ddrie remove the wire and it leaves some natural texture :D

Texture is good but not sure if aesthetically, pointing up is a good idea when depicting an old branch that died. The story needs to convince us as to why these branches were growing upwards. :D

well heres the bottom of the air layer repotted four weeks ago needs to fill out abit then start on some braching
