OK time for a hands up at the AABC

Post by Chris Di Nola »

HI all

Hands up if you are coning to the AABC in Sydney this May.
If you could please let me know when you are getting to Sydney & when you are going to depart. As i live about 10 minutes from the venue I have something in mind for Ausbonsai members "maybe" if time allows as I am also in the commity.

By the way rooms at the hotel are running out FAST so be quick if you still need to book accomodation.

If you are not comming you are going to miss out on a great weekend, and thats a promise.

Cheers

Hi Skip,

I will be there mid afternoon on the Friday and go home Monday when the workshops are all finished.

I hope you and Jamie are both feeling fit and well.

Love your trees by the way. I will be in Sydney next weekend and probably see you next Saturday if you are going.

Will keep in touch. Still can't contact D. He is off the air at the moment.

Grant

Sounds like a great Invite Skippy. At the best I will be there for one day. No over night. Don't know which day yet? Sat or Sunday!
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Is there entry to the exhibition & sales area only?? No mention on the website about entry fee for the exhibition only. Or am I missing something??

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it's $5 entry to the exhibition on the Sat & Sun for those not attending the full conference.

EDIT: Just found the info on the leaflet I got from Ray Nesci: "Entry to the exhibition is $5. Each entrant is entitled to a complimentary ticket in a raffle for a bonsai."

10am - 4.30pm 15-16 May

That would be right and it would be $5 well spent. The show itself should be a ripper.
