Ficus rubiginosa - PJ Fig in an AusBonsai Signature Pot

Post by kcpoole »

Hi all

Many months ago, Steven commissioned Penny from Mudlark Pottery make some special pots for him to give out to members here.

I was one of those lucky to be presented one of them, and have recently gotten around to putting a tree into it.
It had to be an Aussie native, and the only one I have remotely worth while now is this little PJ Fig

It was purchase from the Sale of trees by Lambert Wellington back in 2008, when he had to forgo his collection when he moved into a retirement home. It was grown from seed by him.

As it is now in a larger pot, i will be working on developing the ramification and canopy to be a continuos spread and to spread out the existing branching

Ken

Un fortunately I do not have a photo of the underside of the pot with the AusBonsai signature on it by Penny
